German plane makes fiery landing
A passenger plane carrying Germany's Social Democrat (SPD) leader Franz Muentefering has made an emergency landing at Germany's Stuttgart airport, after having problems with its landing gear.
Amateur footage shows the plane, which was flying in from Berlin's Tegel airport with 73 passengers and five crew members on board, landing on a protective layer of foam as flames appear from the undercarriage.

Airlink Jetstream crashes after take-off from Durban
South African rescuers are attending the scene of a crash involving an Airlink British Aerospace Jetstream 41 turboprop at Durban.
The aircraft was on a positioning flight, SA8911, from Durban to Pietermaritzburg when the accident occurred at around 08:00, says the carrier.

Samo zahvaljujući prisebnošću pilota izbegnuta je tragedija na letu od Diseldorfa do Prištine kompanije „Germanija“. Pri poletanju aviona „boing 737-700“ i pri brzini od 300 kilometara na sat jato čvoraka je uletelo u desni motor koji je potom otkazao.

Accident: Malaysian B734 at Kuching on Oct 2nd 2009, gear collapse at the gate
A Malaysian Airlines Boeing 737-400 registration 9M-MMR had arrived from Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and was waiting at Kuching's (Malaysia) gate 05 for the departure to Kuala Lumpur, when the left inner wing spar structure gave way permitting the left main gear to tilt out of position leaving the airplane resting on the nose gear, right main gear and the left hand engine. Parts of the assembly were pushed through the upper surface of the wing. The airplane sustained substantial damage, no injuries occured.

An investigation has been launched after a Sudanese cargo plane with six people on board crashed near Sharjah Airport on Wednesday afternoon on its way to Khartoum.

Амерички "Континентал ерлајнз" побија истрагу "Ер Франса", која наводи да је удес изазвао метални комад, који је отпао с летелице америчке компаније "Ер Франс" пре 10 година. Авион је полетео са аеродрома "Шарл де Гол" у француској престоници, а само пет минута касније се срушио.

Officials face 15 years’ imprisonment over plane crash
Two aviation officials, Civil Aviation General Directorate (SHGM) General Manager Ali Arıduru and Deputy General Manager Oktay Erdağı, face 15 years in prison for their culpability in a fatal 2007 plane crash in Isparta.
Arıduru and Erdağı are among 12 defendants in the trial over the incident.
On Nov. 30, 2007 Atlasjet flight 4203, a scheduled flight from İstanbul Atatürk Airport to Isparta Süleyman Demirel Airport, crashed in the mountains of southwest Turkey, killing all 57 people on board.

An Exin Antonov AN-26 on behalf of DHL, registration SP-FDO performing freight flight EXN-3589 from Helsinki (Finland) to Tallinn (Estonia) with 6 crew, received an unsafe indication for the left hand main gear while on approach to Tallinn prompting the crew to go around. During the go around at around 10:18L (08:18Z) the airplane encountered engine problems causing the airplane to descend through bushes at the shore of Lake Ulemiste and forcing the crew to touch down on the ice cover of the lake. Two people received injuries, one of them was hospitalized. The airplane received substantial damage.
